Stylish, sexy, fast and fun, Rumba is the dance which makes you want to learn Flamenco!

Rumba is an eye catching Flamenco performance piece and is also the most common Flamenco dance for Spanish parties. This workshop has two levels. Level 1 is suitable for people new to Flamenco (or have danced Flamenco for less than a year) and will teach Rumba Flamenca from the basics upwards, including style, steps, arm and hand movements, turns and footwork. By the end of the Level 1 workshop participants will have learned an entire Rumba dance.
The Level 2 workshop is suitable for more experienced Flamenco dancers. Level 2 students will be taught a selection of exciting, stylish and more challenging Rumba choreography which builds into an impressive original Rumba performance piece.

These workshops will be taught in the dance studio at Pegasus Theatre, central Oxford which has a fully sprung floor and mirrors. Directions and more information on the studio are on our website.

You can find more details on this and other workshops we run on our website, Facebook and Twitter pages and see photos and film from our workshops on our Instagram page, all of which can be accessed via the icons at the bottom of our website.
