Julian Bliss is one of the world’s finest clarinettists excelling as a concerto soloist, chamber musician, jazz artist, masterclass leader and tireless musical explorer. Tonight he plays a great variety of pieces in differing instrumental combinations by Prokofiev, Baermann, Glazunov, Weber and Spohr. He takes a well-earned rest during Dvorak’s wonderful String Quintet.
