WILLIAM LEIGH KNIGHT was born in London and studied full-time at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He is a lecturer in the music department of Morley college, teaching vocal studies. William has followed a varied career which has included professional church choirs, oratorio, and a particular interest in entertainments combining song and poetry, which he compiles.

JOHN COLLIS was born in Witney and studied music at the University of Reading. He taught music on the Isle of Wight for fifteen years and in London, he has been accompanist for the musical theatre group Geoids, Surrey Opera and OperaUpClose. After 11 years as College Librarian at Rose Bruford College, John is now devoting his time to piano teaching and accompanying, mainly at Newham Academy of Music, Sydenham School, Morley College, Ardingly International Music School and Forest Hill Methodist Church.

The driveway is next to the Black Horse pub car park.

This recital is free, and will last one hour.

Refreshments will be available afterwards.
