Ironstone Art Prize 2018

Art exhibition and competition, showcasing the best artwork by artists in the region.

All artists within a 20-mile radius of Banbury are invited to enter work (which may include photography, sculpture and other media). Competition is likely to be intense, with the best entries selected for exhibiting by a panel of five independent judges. The artist with the best artwork on show will lift the Ironstone Art Prize trophy.

The competition has prizes totalling £1,000 to compete for, including £750 for the overall Ironstone Art Prize winner. The Ironstone Under 25s winner will receive £150 and there will be a People’s Prize (£100) sponsored by The Artery, Banbury’s leading supplier of fine art materials. All work being entered will need to be brought to the museum on entry day, 24 January
