‘An exceptionally exciting group who play brilliantly together, with huge verve and imagination, and their joy in music and playing communicates to everyone around them.’ Thomas Adès

Adès' description perfectly captures the spirit of this ensemble. Formed in 2010 when the members met at Paris Conservatoire, the Ducasse Trio has performed widely in the UK, Ireland, France and Switzerland and in 2015 received the Worshipful Company of Musicians Barthel Prize.
Passionate about presenting forgotten works for its interesting combination of instruments, the Trio also champions new repertoire, including the Charlotte Bray commission they will be playing tonight.
