This course is for both low-budget filmmakers who want to learn affordable tools for transforming their own footage, and those looking to explore animation, motion graphics, grading or special effects.

Some experience of a professional non-linear editing package (Premiere, AVID or FCP) is necessary, and a knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is useful but not essential.

Learn how to treat footage by ‘grading’ it and learn how to apply titles, motion graphics and visual effects. Participants will undertake a hands-on project designed to introduce all the essentials of this powerful package. Once students have completed this course, they will be armed with the basic knowledge to begin using and exploring After Effects on their own.
