Venue, Timing and Cost

Venue:
Cogges Manor Farm
Date(s):
Sunday, 21 October 2018
Timing:
11am - 4pm
Cost:
£6.50/£4.50 or free for Cogges season ticket holders

The ever popular Apple Day at Cogges returns this year with even more delicious apple treats from the orchard and walled garden.

You can taste a range of different varieties to find your favourites, or bring in your own apples and find out what they are! We will be apple pressing, ready for you to taste fresh, heritage apple juice, with some available to take home. Bring ready chopped apples and a bottle or flask along for pressing your own 11am-1pm. We will also have a limited supply for a small donation.

The Windrush Bowmen will be camping out on the lawn in period dress throughout the day, demonstrating their archery skills and sparring using replica weapons, as well as showing visitors traditional weaving techniques. In the manor house, the apple fun continues with toffee apples, storytelling, craft activities and apple crumble. For the grown-ups, there's always the Cogges Cider Bar, and live music to while away the afternoon.

Usual entry fees apply or free for season ticket holders and under 3s. Well behaved dogs on leads are most welcome.
