Jonathan Katz studied piano, organ and harpsichord at Trinity College of Music. He then studied Classics and Oriental languages at Oxford. In addition to playing solo and chamber recitals all over Europe, he teaches Indian studies and musicology at Oxford. He is a Fellow of All Souls and St Anne's Colleges, and is currently the University's Public Orator. This is his second recital for Music at The Limes.

Currently a third-year Classics student at Oxford, Sophie Cheng has already performed as concerto soloist and in chamber ensembles such as the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, the Ripieno Players of Oxford and the Oxford University Orchestra. She has also been principal cellist of the Academy Chamber Orchestra and the University of Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra.

The driveway is next to the Black Horse pub car park.

This recital is free, and will last one hour.

Refreshments will be available afterwards.
