The Choir of Magdalen College, Oxford, performs a beautiful programme of music for a summer’s evening, including Finzi’s Dies Natalis and Magnificat, and Vaughan Williams’s evocative Oxford Elegy and Five Mystical Songs. Directed by Mark Williams, the choir is accompanied by The Waynflete Sinfonia, with soloists Maximilian Lawrie and Frederick Wickham, and guest speaker Jeremy Irons.
