What is a ‘Big Idea’? How does it affect the writing process? What difference does it make on a listener?

..... ‘Finding a Big Idea to focus your song’ is probably the most common problem for songwriters - not being clear enough about what their song is really about. It's hard to finish a song, or write a good song, if we are unclear on this central issue. This is a chance to learn how to fix the problem!

What makes a good Title? How does it relate to a ‘Big Idea’? What impact does it have on the songwriter and the listener?

- Interactive talk, songwriting exercises, song analysis, reading lists, detailed handouts
- Meet other songwriters & potential writing partners

All levels of songwriting experience welcome. We have quite experienced writers, and beginners, and they learn from and with each other - the mix works well.
