Aurelia Nemon Stuart will talk about the work of her father, the Oxford-based sculptor Oscar Nemon, whose iconic bronze bust of Winston Churchill will be well known to many, reproduced as it is in the new garden in Blenheim Palace. Many famous sitters commissioned portrait busts from Nemon including Sigmund Freud, General Eisenhower, and the Queen, and his works can be viewed throughout the world, and in particular in the Palace of Westminster.
This talk has been given at the National Portrait Gallery in London and at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, so we are fortunate indeed to be able to hear it in Woodstock.

Entrance tickets, available from the Museum (tel. 01993 814106) will be £8.00 and all talks will take place in The Coach House at 2.30p.m.
