This hands-on creativity retreat is the perfect setting for you to unplug from your daily routine and take inspiration from the beautiful countryside in the heart of Bulgaria. Our tour meets in Sofia where we’ll spend roughly two days and one night taking in the sights of this historic city. From there we’ll drive you into the heart of Bulgaria to the Stone & Compass Balkan Ecotourism and Cultural Retreat (http://www.stoneandcompass.com/), which consists of a gorgeous house and several outbuildings set on the grounds of over 150 acres of unspoiled nature that boasts a 360-degree view of the lush forest and mountains that surrounds it. This incredibly inspiring setting is where you’ll set up studio alongside nine fellow artists and writers and provides you with the opportunity to work on your craft in a relaxing and inspiring setting whilst exploring the cultural richness Bulgaria has to offer. In addition to accommodation and all meals this all-inclusive retreat includes morning yoga sessions, customisable day trips, creativity sessions led by local artists, access to the art and culture of Bulgaria, and plenty of opportunities to connect with other artists.
