The Story Museum is looking for a part-time Finance Assistant to provide an efficient and effective bookkeeping function to support our cultural enterprise. This is a core role in our small and friendly office and you'll work closely alongside colleagues in all departments. Duties will include running the sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliation, assisting with procurement and working with the Head of Finance to keep proper accounting records.
Successful applicants must have at least two years work experience in a finance department, knowledge of financial accounting software and have a methodical and accurate approach to their work with high attention to detail.
This is a part time 0.8 FTE role on a permanent contract. There is also the possibility of making it a full time role, with additional duties.
