We are seeking an experienced and capable prop maker to join the creative team for our award-winning, nationally-renowned Christmas panto – a Viking remix of Jack and the Beanstalk!

The Prop Maker would generally join the team full time for four weeks, three on site at our theatre in Oxfordshire, but we are happy to discuss alternative working models as long as there is sufficient time in the building to work alongside the costume, set, technical and production team.

The candidate will have significant experience in prop making for theatre, whether as dedicated prop maker or within the roles of designer or ASM. They will be experienced in working alongside a designer to design the props, budget and source materials, and to construct sturdy and durable props. Candidates will be asked to give examples of previous work, and ideally be able to share a portfolio of some previous examples.
