Marketing Manager

Salary / Fee: 
£16,800 (pro rata, £28,000 FTE)

Key responsibilities:
Create and curate content plans for all platforms
Ensure marketing strategy is followed and updated
Ensure marketing plans are in line with business plans
Work closely with senior management team to engage in internal comms exercises
Analyse audience feedback forms and report / make decisions
Analyse digital platforms including website, social channels, e-newsletters and report / make decisions
Liaise with FOH, bookings and programme teams, to set, track and meet audience development and sales targets
Create discounts and comp opportunities including finding reviewers
Manage press opportunities including drafting and sending quarterly releases
Manage the website
Manage the marketing budget

Selection criteria:
If you have all or most of these, please apply:
3 years of experience in arts and/or events marketing
Experience of delivering and updating a marketing strategy in line with wider business plans
Experience managing press enquiries
Experience managing websites
Budget management experience
Interest in the arts
Interest in the mission of the Old Fire Station
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
Working knowledge of social media
Excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to customer care
Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail
The ability to work to strict deadlines
The ability to work under pressure, take instruction from multiple sources, prioritise and use initiative
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Energy and enthusiasm to be part of a small, hard-working team.
Working knowledge of Wordpress sites, Mailchimp and Canva
A variety of data systems experience
Experience at improving organisational systems
Experience in working alongside vulnerable people
