Oxford Playhouse are looking for a Programme Managerto lead the programme department to effectively deliver Oxford Playhouse’s artistic strategy through implementing the Artistic Directors strategic plan whilst coordinating a programme of in-house productions, co-productions, offsite work, touring and artist development. This is a key role at the heart of the organisation ensuring the efficient, accurate communication of information across departments whilst ensuring a mix of subsidised and commercial work is presented that feeds into our status as an NPO.

Main Responsibilities include:
• Present Oxford Playhouse in a positive, welcoming light to create an attractive and appealing proposition for potential visiting artists and creative practitioners.
• Furnish external artists, producers, and promoters with suitable available dates within the Oxford Playhouse diary, remaining sensitive to the artistic, financial, and operational considerations.
• Create appropriate pricing schedules and gross potentials for visiting artists that respect their perceived value, satisfy financial requirements, and take account of Oxford Playhouse’s commitment to accessibility for patrons.
• Negotiate deal terms with artists, producers, promoters, and agents, that are appropriate for the scale and type of individual productions.
