Oxford Playhouse are looking for an Artistic Director who will be responsible for conceiving, developing, and implementing the artistic vision and focus of the organisation whilst working closely with the other members of the senior management team.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Present Oxford Playhouse in a positive, welcoming light to create an attractive and appealing proposition for potential visiting artists and creative practitioners.

• Develop and manage the artistic vision, in line with proposed NPO outputs and wider creative partnerships, in collaboration with Programming and Participation departments. Implement the ACE 'Let's Create' strategy, considering Investment Principles throughout planning and delivery operations.

• Artistic and production lead on the yearly pantomime and summer tour.

• Develops, implements and evaluates the programme across Oxford Playhouse and Burton Taylor Studio.
