Oxford Playhouse are looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to contribute effectively to the work of the Operations team in achieving departmental objectives. Specifically, to ensure that consistently high standards of customer service, presentation, and safety are maintained in all the theatre's public bar & catering areas by the staff team.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Undertake and supervise the efficient delivery of Café, bar and event services to customers, clients, visiting companies and for in-house activities.

• To manage the Theatre’s Café, bar and catering operations, maintaining, and developing quality, customer satisfaction and profitability. To work with the Director of Operations and Catering Supervisor in the development and implementation of the Bar and Catering strategy.

• To maintain food hygiene and safety systems incorporating monitoring of equipment, personal practices, and cleaning records to ensure compliance.

• Deliver a welcoming service to all users of Oxford Playhouse activities (public, artists, contractors, consultants, promoters, staff, sponsors, funders etc.).
