We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic intern to help the Learning & Participation Team to deliver our family programme and our Extreme Reading Adventures project in Spring 2023. The role includes supporting our Easter holidays skills courses for 8-12 year-olds and our Extreme Reading Adventures project which provides story-themed activities to stimulate reading for pleasure in a cohort of children identified as ‘reluctant readers’.

You will assist with front-facing activities at the Museum, including working in small groups or providing one-to-one in support for individual children, as well as providing administrative support for the Extreme Reading Adventures project and assisting with data collection and evaluation.

This is a full-time, 12-week fixed term contract running from 3 April 2023. The successful applicant must be available to work on the following Sundays:
Sunday 30 April, Sunday 7 May, Sunday 14 May, Sunday 21 May, Sunday 11 June and Sunday 18 June
