New Theatre oxford are looking for a Stage Door Receptionist ; this person will be confident, friendly and proactive, someone who is able to engage with a diverse range of people and adapt to varying situations. You must be able to keep calm under pressure and maintain a professional attitude at all times.

As a Stage Door receptionist, you will play a key role in maintaining the security of the building, people and property. You will be the first point of contact for performers, producers, deliveries and guests, ensuring that all who use the venue feel warmly welcomed, you will communicate between building users to support the day-to-day running of the building, and ensure that queries are answered and outstanding customer service is provided at all times.

Some key responsibilities include:

Providing an efficient and welcoming reception area for staff and visitors, keeping the stage door area clean, tidy, GDPR compliant and presentable.
Answering incoming calls in a highly professional manner; ensuring queries are efficiently dealt with and messages are forwarded.
Welcoming, signing in and keeping an accurate record of when all members of the theatre staff, companies and visitors are in the building.
Ensuring contractors complete the necessary paperwork and are met by a member of the technical or maintenance team.
Welcoming visiting company members and providing controlled distribution of dressing room keys and theatre information, including health and safety documents.
Providing visitors with an information service advising on matters such as parking, train timetables, gyms, restaurants, and digs lists.
