Justice in Motion is looking for a freelance Community Engagement and Education Manager to lead our creative engagement and community outreach programme.
Are you an amazing communicator, enthusiastic, motivated and passionate about the role that performing arts can play to support young people and communities? Your previous experience, working with a wide range of community groups and/or the education sector will be an advantage in taking the programme to the next level.
The programme is linked to a our touring productions exploring social injustices. Our latest, CODE, is a work in progress, looking at issues around county lines and exploitation.
Programme opportunities include our mobile parkour park, creative residencies and workshops built as part of our touring work, including recent past productions ON EDGE (modern slavery) and MOVING TOGETHER (loneliness), and a prospective youth panel.
We are offering a monthly fee of £1,200 for the equivalent of 2 days per week between August 2022 and March 2023.
We are keen to have a team representing our diverse community and welcome applications for this role from candidates from the global majority and other marginalised communities or those with lived experience of social injustice.
