New Theatre, Oxford is currently seeking a full time, permanent Deputy Technical Manager to join the team in our 1800-capacity theatre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident leader and skilled technician to work on a diverse and exciting programme, featuring the best names in music, comedy and large scale musicals.

To succeed in this role you'll need to be a clear communicator. Responsible for a permanent and casual team of technicians, you'll ensure we offer the highest standards of technical support to hundreds of performances and events each year. Establishing great relationships with the touring companies visiting us is a key part of the role. You'll also be responsible for maintaining the building to a high standard and establishing a positive safety culture throughout the venue team. This is a varied role including a good mixture of both planning and management and practical technical work, in a dynamic and fast moving venue, right in the heart of the beautiful city of Oxford.
