Focus on Photography flyer

A call for entries for the second photography open exhibition at The Heseltine Gallery in Middleton Cheney. Deadline for entries is Saturday 29 January.

Launched in 2020, Focus on Photography celebrates photographic artwork by emerging, amateur and established photographers. The exhibition will be displayed in the Heseltine Gallery at Chenderit School, which is dedicated to showing quality artwork from across the region.

Photographers are encouraged to download an application pack and entry form from https://www.theheseltinegallery.org.uk/e... to find out more details. The exhibition covers a range of media including digital photography, analogue photography, photo-silk screen printing, photography-based collage and photogravure. The gallery is also welcoming entries from younger talent across the region to form a special category for those aged between 11 and 18 years.

All entries must be submitted digitally and will be selected by a panel of independent judges who will make their selection based on the quality and technique of each work. Selected images will need to be framed and delivered to the Heseltine Gallery. Prizes for the exhibition will be announced at the opening event on 28 February.

This exhibition will be a really exciting opportunity for anyone that has an interest in photography and wants the chance to share that with others. For emerging talent it is a great way to get your work noticed and see what sells.

Venue: The Heseltine Gallery, Chenderit School, Archery Road, Middleton Cheney, OX17 2QR.
