Cherwell Theatre Company (CTC) aims to create an environment where young people can be themselves, make new friends and feel a real sense of value. We work collaboratively, bringing their unique qualities and aspirations to life through inclusive community theatre. Our patron is Sir Trevor Nunn who supports us in the belief that “CTC truly provides access for all regardless of background.”

Since 2004 we have delivered 1,000+ weekly sessions, worked with 25+ community organisations, presented 18 accessible family shows, 3 youth festivals and 3 Theatre in Education plays reaching 100,000+ school children and many site-specific works devised with young people, often in unusual spaces.

We are currently seeking arts practitioners to work with us on delivering a thriving schools and community settings outreach programme in Banbury. We welcome applications from everyone including new and emerging practitioners and those with a more established practice. We work with groups of young people from a range of different backgrounds, cultures and abilities and are looking to have a pool of professionals that reflect this.
