These Things Matter is a project partnership between Museum of Colour (MoC), the Bodleian Libraries and Fusion Arts. The aim of the project is to create a small exhibition that will be built via a collaborative process which will investigate the ideas and relationships that maintained systems of empire and slavery. The exhibition is going to be formed from items of emotional control from the Bodleian Libraries collection that have been chosen by participants through a series of workshops. The items chosen will also be the subjects of an artistic commission for reinterpretation.

Museum of Colour is currently seeking participants to join these workshops and, through a series of conversations and questions, help curate the exhibition.
