Fusion Arts is looking to commission a local artist to illustrate a lantern-making guide as part of this year’s Oxford Light Festival!

Artist fee: £350

Application deadline: 11:59pm Sunday 3rd October

As we gear up to this year’s Light Festival, Fusion Arts will once again be opening an online store for people to order lantern-making kits and get creative at home!

These kits will come with all the equipment needed to create a spectacular willow and tissue paper lantern that can be displayed in the house, or taken along to the lantern parade at the Florence Park Community event in November.

We are looking for an illustrator to create a simple step-by-step lantern-making guide to accompany these kits.

The illustration will need to be created with just two different ink colours, so that it is suitable to be printed using the environmentally-friendly Risograph process. See examples from last year’s instruction guide by Charlotte Orr on our website: http://www.fusion-arts.org/creative-call...
