As Deputy Technical Manager you'll ensure we offer the highest standards of technical support to the visiting companies, producers and private hires bringing their performances and events to the venue, supporting the Technical and Building Manager to manage and lead a team of permanent and casual technicians. Establishing great relationships with the touring companies visiting us is a key part of the role. You'll also be responsible for maintaining the building to a high standard and establishing a positive safety culture throughout the venue team. This is a varied role including a good mixture of both planning and management and practical technical work.

Previous technical experience in a live entertainment context is essential, but this does not have to be a theatre and we are keen to hear from candidates from a wide range of backgrounds. The role is offered on an annualised hours basis, with payment for 150 premium hours included in the salary.
