OVADA Director Job Opportunity

Our new Director will bring their considerable experience, artistic vision and an imaginative approach to lead OVADA and further its aims and objectives. The ideal candidate will be flexible and reliable, with excellent communication and organisational skills. We are looking for a creative thinker and decision maker, with experience and knowledge of development work and revenue generation within the creative sector. They will be entrepreneurial in outlook but sympathetic to OVADA’s mission and aims as a not-for-profit community arts organisation. In addition to being proactive in approach, they will be able to respond quickly and appropriately to changing and challenging situations.

They will have some experience of managing a small team, There are three part-time staff already in post: Programme Coordinator 16 hours; Engagement Coordinator 16 hours; Facilities Manager 8 hours.

30 hours per week(exact hours to be agreed)
£30,000 - £34,000 pro rata depending on experience
This is a freelance contract initially for 12 months
