The Theatre Chipping Norton is looking for a Take Part Co-Director (Part time Maternity Cover). The Theatre is a busy and ambitious arts centre in the Cotswolds. Welcoming over 50,000 people every year, The Theatre delivers a year-round programme for audiences across the region. Recently we have grown as a producing house, creating three major productions annually and growing a more loyal audience as a result. We are looking to grow this area of our work and have begun to tour across the UK. The Take Part department are currently working on developing new areas of community work outside the building, including some section 106 funding.
The Theatre, sited in a Victorian former Salvation Army Citadel, is a charming and warm environment for this wide range of activities. In addition to the main 200+ seat auditorium, we have a range of workshop and rehearsal spaces and a gallery exhibiting local and national artists.
The Take Part Co-Director shares responsibility with one other Co-Director, each working a 3 day (21 hour) week. This role focuses on Holiday Workshops, Dementia Friendly work, Relaxed Performances and Access, as well as sharing responsibility for the direction and planning of the department, special projects/pilots and growing our external relationships. The role also leads on marketing Take Part events, including designing marketing materials, using Photoshop and Publisher. Skills in this area would be advantageous, but training can be provided.

Salary: £12,300 pro-rated (£20,500 full time equivalent)
Part time position: 21 hours + lunch breaks
Initial fixed term: 10 months
