The Deputy Chief Electrician (Sound) is responsible to the Technical Director(LX). The post holder will provide support to the artistic programme of the Oxford Playhouse through the delivery of the highest possible standard of service to ensure a safe, efficient and enjoyable environment is provided for staff, visitors and customers. The post holder will have energy and enthusiasm, a flexible approach to working hours, the ability to work in a busy, pressured environment and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Oxford Playhouse has an outstanding record of success presenting and producing an ambitious programme which includes the finest national and international touring drama, family shows, contemporary dance and music, circus, comedy and poetry and provides a platform for local students and amateur groups. Oxford Playhouse is a historic hub in the heart of the community, with audience attendance well above the national average for regional theatre.
