Development Director

This is a senior role to raise funds to support the work of the Oxford Playhouse, building relationships and ensuring the reputation of the theatre nationally and locally is consistently professional and creative.

The successful candidate will be an active major gift fundraiser, with a natural ability to build relationships with gravitas and confidence and be able to negotiate at a senior level within and outside the Oxford Playhouse. The role requires exceptional communication, influencing and networking skills; a high level of initiative and a commitment to the highest professional standards.

Oxford Playhouse has an outstanding record of success presenting and producing an ambitious program which includes the finest national and international touring drama, family shows, contemporary dance and music, circus, comedy and poetry and provides a platform for local student and amateur groups. Oxford Playhouse is a historic hub in the heart of the community, with audience attendance well above the national average for regional theatre.
