Poster for Focus on Photography Call for Entries

[Focus] on Photography at the Heseltine Gallery
Exhibition 29th February – 31st March 2020

A call for entries. New photography open exhibition coming to The Heseltine Gallery in the New Year! Deadline for entries is 31 January.

Launching for the first time in 2020, this exciting exhibition will celebrate photographic artwork by both emerging and established photographers. The exhibition will be displayed in the Heseltine Gallery at Chenderit School, which is dedicated to showing quality artwork from across the region.

A call for entries has now begun and photographers are encouraged to download an application pack from www.southnorthants.gov.uk/arts-and-culture to find out more details. The exhibition covers a range of media including digital photography, analogue photography, photo-silk screen printing, photography-based collage and photogravure.

All entries must be submitted digitally and will be selected by a panel of independent judges who will make their selection based on the quality and technique of each work. Selected images will need to be framed and delivered to the Heseltine Gallery. Judges and prizes for the exhibition will be announced early next year.

The gallery is also welcoming entries from younger talent across the region to form a special category for those aged between 11 and 18 years.

This exhibition will be a really exciting opportunity for anyone that has an interest in photography and wants the chance to share that with others. For emerging talent it is a great way to get your work noticed and see what sells.

Venue: The Heseltine Gallery, Chenderit School, Archery Road, Middleton Cheney, OX17 2QR.
