The Story Museum is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic intern to help and support the Collections & Exhibitions Team in developing content for the Museum’s new galleries. Your working days will be busy and varied and could include researching stories or historic objects, writing captions, documenting collections on to our database, processing loans of objects for display, helping to create and set up displays, attending events or taking notes at meetings. In addition all our interns help support the operation of the Museum by assisting with general office tasks, public events and programmes.

This is a paid full-time internship for 12 weeks from 16 September – 15 December 2019. You will be paid £7.70 – £8.21 per hour depending on your age. Completed application forms must be received by 9am Monday 2 September.
