Creative Dementia Arts Network is looking for a personable and numerate volunteer interested in arts and dementia to man our exhibition stand at the Arts and Dementia: Developing Best Practice conference at Midlands Arts Centre, Birmingham on Tuesday 24 September, 2019.

This is a great opportunity to get experience, network and take part in sessions such as music, dance, poetry led by experts and pioneers in the field of arts and dementia, or in debates and listen to keynotes.

The role involves travelling to Birmingham on Monday 23 September 2019 with the CDAN Chair and staying over in a nearby Airbnb which is booked for our Chair + CDAN conference admin person.
Early on Tuesday 24 September you will help our Chair to set up the stand, set out the books, book list prices and gift aid envelopes.

You will be selling books during registration, refreshment breaks, lunch* and for an hour after the conference. For the rest of the time at the conference you are welcome to participate in our conference.* you will, of course, get lunch and refreshments.

Full training given in using a credit card payment machine and systems for taking cheque and cash payments and keeping records of all sales. After the networking session post conference you will help pack up the remaining books..

Our Chair will drive you back to Oxford (final destination East Oxford or you can be dropped at a bus stop just south of Bicester or Kidlington) ETA Oxford between 19.30 - 20.00.
