The Story Museum in Oxford is currently undergoing a major redevelopment capital project. As we prepare to launch the transformed Story Museum, we are expanding all levels of the organisation including the Board to ensure we take full flight in 2020.

To add to the talent and dedication of our existing Trustees, we are recruiting two new Board members with a particular emphasis on learning and social impact, and on creative practice. The successful candidate for each post will bring extensive skills, insight and personal authority derived from professional experience in the relevant sector, as well as a deep appreciation of the role of creativity in learning and social impact. A love of stories in all forms and an empathy with the vision and values of the Story Museum is essential. As is a much thumbed notebook/tablet where you store all your best-but-as-yet-unrealised-ideas about how to enrich lives, especially young lives, through stories: we want to hear them!

These roles are voluntary with an expected time commitment of 6-12 days per year.
