Soul of Bicester Choir

OYAP Trust is teaming up with world class choir leader, Steph Pirrie, to start up a new community choir in Bicester. We are looking for two trainee choir leaders with connections to Bicester to develop their skills and take a leadership role in the choir. This is a fantastic opportunity to be trained and mentored, which Steph will provide, as we grow our new community arts venue and theatre space, Studi02 in a former Victorian School building. The kind of music will be world music, soul music, acapella and African, and the tone will be social with lots of opportunities to link with other choirs and to perform regularly.

This opportunity would suit an outgoing and charismatic person who loves bringing people and the community together through music. You will need to be musically talented but not necessarily formally trained, with great leadership potential. This is a great opportunity to be trained by one of the best in the business, and to develop your skills, confidence and experience as a singing leader. Preferably you will have links to Bicester, and be interested in growing the cultural community there.

Please send us a letter of interest preferably accompanied by a CV or statement of experience.
