The Story Museum's annual Christmas show brings traditional seasonal tales alive through fabulous storytelling, song, laughter and lots of opportunities for all - children, their families and friends - to join in. 2018 holds a surprise in store as we take our show go out on location in a temporary venue in Oxford's Castle Quarter. The production will be led by award winning team Renata Allen (writer-director) and Tish Francis (co-director The Story Museum). Tish's theatre career includes 18 years leading the Oxford Playhouse, Soho Laundry and the Almeida Theatre and earlier arts career included GRAEAE Theatre, Shared Experience, Opera Factory and The Geffrye Museum. Renata Allen is an award winning theatre practitioner and director. For young audiences Renata has written a number of plays and adaptations including The Magic Story Book, which won the TMA Regional Theatre Award for Best Production for Children and Young People award when it played at The Oxford Playhouse in 1992 and The Witch and the Magic Mountain that was nominated for the same award in 1994.
