Oxford Playhouse is seeking an enthusiastic and experience person to support our TENT tour. The TENT Activity Assitant will be a key element of the TENT tour and will require excellent organisational and social skills, a flexible and open attitude and the ability to work and communicate effectively with a wide range people and at different levels.

One Small Step will be touring in our new Playhouse Plays Out TENT over the course of 5 weeks between April and May 2018. The tent provides a brilliant opportunity for the Playhouse to take work outside of our venue and reach audiences in postcodes that theatres traditionally struggle to attract. In addition to the performances of One Small Step there will be participatory activities to engage pupils to support curriculum learning and provide fun experiences for children and their families.

The role will contribute to the effective delivery of the 2018 TENT Tour. Specifically, to assist and lead on creative activities and workshops in the TENT at selected locations. You will work with the Participation Department to ensure children and families receive a consistently warm and friendly welcome and have an enjoyable experience during their time in the TENT.
