Dawn Rose Red

Taking place over 3 weekends in April, Dawn Rose Red encompasses a series of new installations and special events at OVADA as a timely artistic exploration of women’s rights. Through workshops, performances, screenings and installations, the project will bring people together to discuss and make creative responses to what gender equality means both today and for the future.

THE BRIEF:

Capture. Record. Document. Celebrate.

We will provide a safe space for people to come together in a supportive environment and to engage in open and progressive conversations about what gender equality means both today and discuss how we shape our future.

We are looking for creative image-makers to capture all of the diverse and exciting activities involved with the Dawn Rose Red project and share it with audiences outside of the gallery space via our Instagram account. When discussing the future of gender equality it is absolutely vital that the voices of young people are represented and their voices are heard.

We are therefore aiming to select three young, creative individuals with a strong ability to communicate visually, who can commit to being our Instagrammer-in-residence for one of the three weekends of Dawn Rose Red.
