iCreative - Supporting a new generation of creative talent in Oxfordshire

Film Oxford and Fusion Arts are now recruiting a workshop leader for the first iCreative programme aimed at young people 15 -24 looking to work in the Creative Industries. The programme runs for 10 days (May - July) and culminates on July 2nd in a project with the Cowley Road Carnival.

We are looking for someone who can lead 8 sessions based on an ‘Introduction to Graphic design’. You will plan and deliver the sessions within an Arts awards template, supplied by us.

Desirable attributes –
knowledge of current design software (i.e. Photoshop, Gimp, Illustrator)
Use of typography, layout skills and free hand design skills (i.e. fonts, magazines, drawing and sketching)
Knowledge of different printing techniques (lino, screen)
Local industry/freelance knowledge and career paths into the sector
Must be able to inspire, guide and support young people 16+
Must be able to deliver programme in East Oxford

£190 per day for 8 days
