Call out for a film-maker:
We are seeking a talented film-maker to work with us to document the culmination of a project working with Young people at the Pitt Rivers Museum. The event is on Wednesday 29th March 2017 from 11-3pm at the Pitt Rivers Museum.
The fee for the work would be £300 inclusive of filming & edit time. We would provide food, refreshments and the intoxicating oxytocin from the joy of the event.
The film-maker would film the day and then edit the footage into a 3 minute promo-video which captures the feelings of the project. We would like a few vox-pops interviews with adults / young people and we would also like the art-work and performances to be captured.
The film will be used to promote the next cohort of our flexi-school Kick Arts. To give you some ideas of what we are looking for please watch these films: Fragments (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ib6MPzw3Xdc), Kick Arts 2015 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRviI2H8vxc).
If we are interested in working with you we will invite you for an informal meeting on Wednesday 22nd March at the Museum of Natural History.
We are often looking for film-makers to lead or document projects so if you are unable to commit to this project please email us anyway with your information and if we like your work we will hold you in mind for the future.
To apply for the role please send an expression of interest, your CV and links to 3 films you have made by 5pm Tuesday 21st March 2017. Email Carmen: email@example.com
