The Contemporary Visual Arts Network (CVAN) represents and supports a diverse and vibrant visual arts ecology, embracing a broad range of artistic and curatorial practice across the nine English regions.

CVAN South East – formerly known as ‘Turning Point South East’ – is a regional network of visual arts organisations initiated in 2007 by Arts Council England, South East. CVAN South East evolved at a time when there was a desire and necessity for greater collaboration across the visual arts sector as well as improved understanding and communication between Arts Council England and the organisations its funds.

The CVAN South East Manager is responsible for devising, implementing and reporting on the actions and initiatives of the Strategy Group for the South East region. The post holder is employed by Modern Art Oxford and is a member of the Modern Art Oxford team, directly managed by the Director of Modern Art Oxford reporting to CVAN South East Strategy Group and its Chair. A one year part-time contract (3 days per week) is offered running until the end of March 2018.
