• Do you love reading and want to inspire children to read more?
• Are you imaginative, resourceful and have a good sense of fun?
• Do you want to ‘give something back’ to your local community or primary school?

Oxfordshire charity Bookfeast is currently looking for volunteers to help as Lunchboox Club Leaders at primary schools in Oxford.
The role involves leading a 35 minute lunchtime reading group for 7 weeks in every two terms (ie 21 sessions per school year). Children are in Years 5 or 6, with a maximum of 10 children per group. In addition to leading the club, you will be required to read the books alongside the children, plan a variety of simple book related activities for each session (eg writing, art, craft, drama), and carry out simple administrative duties.
Bookfeast will provide a DBS check, handbook, initial training (2 hours), regular networking and resource sharing opportunities with other volunteer club leaders and on-going support from the Project Manager.
