Oxford-based community music charity Sound Resource is recruiting for a part-time Charity Manager. Providing freelance services, the Manager will be involved with publicity, outreach and promotion, administrative support for the charity's activities, and fundraising. An exciting opportunity for someone wanting to work in community arts administration or charity development.

Sound Resource has been registered for four years and promotes wellbeing through singing and music. It provides accessible community-based group singing opportunities for adults in Oxford and beyond. Four regular sessions include older people, people living with dementia, people with breathing difficulties and people with identified mental health needs. High quality inclusive practice engages people in a positive activity which boosts their health and wellbeing, increases confidence, encourages social bonding and community engagement and counters isolation. A flourishing mentoring programme is expanding our practitioner base. We currently have two years of core funding in place to support our activities.

To apply, please see Sound Resource's website - 3 documents outlining the application process, job description and application form are here: http://soundresource.org.uk/breathe/

Application deadline Friday 26th November, 6pm. Completed application forms to be submitted to soundresourcecharity@gmail.com
