Alice’s Day is a city-wide celebration of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. It takes place in July, as close as possible to the date on which Lewis Carroll first told the story to Alice Liddell as they boated on the river. Free events are hosted by more than 20 partners across Oxford, co-ordinated by The Story Museum. We are looking for Alice’s Day volunteers to help make the day run smoothly and add to the fun. This includes helping to steward outdoor events which include a Caucus Race , Human Croquet and a giant Alice Puppet show....Wear white rabbit hats and spread the word around town by handing out maps and leaflets on the day. These positions are voluntary but great fun! Date: 2nd July 2016, from 9.30-5.30 although shorter shift is possible.
