Chipping Norton Theatre seeks an experienced Production Manager to work alongside our inhouse Stage Management team and Technical Production Manager on our unique traditional panto.

Duties to include: Managing set build and paint process, including sourcing quotes and liaising between designer and set builders; advising on any major set pieces, large props or technical equipment; liaising with inhouse Producers, Director and Stage Management team, Lighting Designer, Prop-Maker, Costume Designer and rest of creative team to ensure smooth running of the creative process within budget and timeline; supporting the team through technical rehearsals; providing full professional risk assessment for the show and set; overseeing get-out and returns.

This is a part-time position, requiring the Production Manager to have some availability for production and design meetings in July/August (London), and full time for set fit-up approx. 19-22 Oct (Chipping Norton) and Technical Rehearsals approx. 8-11 Nov. (Chipping Norton). Also some presence during get-out – approx. 10-12 Jan. The Production Manager is expected to be reachable within a reasonable time frame on phone or email from July until the show closes mid-Jan.

Fee: £1750 with travel and accommodation in Chipping Norton provided.
