I am a performance poet, author and raconteur, who has performed all over the country for fifteen years. I have twice won the Oxford Hammer and Tongue Slam Championship and was a member of the winning team at the 2013 National Slam Championships. I have taken two solo spoken word shows to the Edinburgh Fringe, receiving five star reviews for both of them, with my first show 'Evie and the Perfect Cupcake' voted runner up in the 'Best Spoken Word show on the Free Fringe' in 2013. My 2016 show is called 'Till Debt Us Do Part' and is previewing in Oxford and London before a full run in Edinburgh in August.
I host a regular slam night in Oxford called Hammer and Tongue, and have hosted and curated many other poetry and comedy gigs, such as Poetry on the Spot, The Anti-Slam and the performance stage at Wisley Arts Festival. I have published three books on equestrianism and my two poetry pamphlets 'The Velvet Box' and 'Let Your Dog Out' are published by Allographic.
I am available for bespoke performances, talks and after dinner speeches, workshops (adults) and commissions. My motto is 'Question Everything' and I continually work to come from fresh and compassionate perspectives.
