As a movement specialist, educator, project manager, mentor and facilitator, I am a highly organised, dedicated individual with the drive and commitment to adapt to new demands and contexts and make things happen. I am professional, respectful and thoughtful in my approach, with the ability to work independently and collaborate as a team member.

Having moved to Cheltenham 2 years ago, I am interested in finding new partnerships in the cultural and voluntary sectors, building on my current work in creative careers and arts and health.

I currently work for Create Gloucestershire leading on training, events and projects and manage their Creative Careers strand of work; promoting employment opportunities for young people in creative and cultural industries through paid internships and apprenticeships.

Alongside my project management skills, I work independently as a movement specialist and collaborative artist in learning and health based settings and have a particular interest in working with early years and older people on enquiry and partnership based initiatives.

I am currently working on a two year Arts and Social Care programme with The Courtyard Theatre in Hereford, leading dance residencies with older people in different care settings across rural areas in Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.

I am also part of an artist collective, TheVERYidea, working collaboratively on larger scale outdoor programmes with families and communities. We are a team of four experienced, independent artists based in the Midlands, whose work spans multiple artforms - visual, music and performance and is participatory and distinctive in its style. With over ten years experience of working collaboratively with children, families and practitioners in a range of learning and community settings from children’s centres, sheltered housing, parks to hospitals, our approach is innovative, creative and inclusive. We aim to inspire, engage, empower and excite by learning together.
