Although involved in photography for over 40 years David’s background into art photography came from teaching photography at University. He has always been fascinated by movement within the photographic image whilst creating something of beauty at the same time. Water continues to be a strong theme in his work.

David is a passionate photographer who captures his passion through the lens of the camera. In recent years David has extended the subject area with abstract images involving both the human form and inanimate objects.

Although specializing in commercial photography he still produces traditional analogue, black & white prints.

David is also invoved in education and currently works with Oxfordshire Skills and Learning Service

Many of his pictures have been exhibited successfully in galleries in Oxford and London

His favourite photographer is Henri Cartier Bresson.
