The Creative Collective is a group of artist exhibiting work in an extra ordinanry venue called Top Lock. The Creative collective was started by a group of 5 potters and 1 artist looking for a venue with a difference in oxfordshire. The exhibition ias now into its second year and looking to be established as a happening polace for exhibitons and workshops.
Top Lock is an gallery space housed in a 1780's forge. Situated next to the oxford canal. Access is by walking 1/4 mile along the tow path. The gallery is off grid so has independant electricity power. It an inspiring exciting place that once visited is not forgotten.
I live at top lock and am trained as a furniture restorer. I look forward to doing more of my own work in the future. For the time being am involved in working on establishing a place which is good for people to be in either as artist or appreciator of art work.
